From one competition to an engineering identity
ROBOTICS · ELECTRONICS · SOFTWARE · MECHANICS
HyperLine Robotics started in 2023 with RobotChallenge. At first, it focused on building competition robots, experimenting with different ideas and learning how electronics, mechanics and software work together in a real system.
After that first competition, HyperLine quickly expanded into more events and more complex projects. The team began competing in RobotChallenge China, Relativity Robotics Challenge, Robotics Championship, WRO, InfoMatrix and other national and international robotics competitions, while developing robots for line following, autonomous driving and other high-performance challenges.
My engineering role
As the team grew, so did my role. I became responsible for much of the engineering process, including system architecture, PCB design, embedded programming, mechanical development, control algorithms, testing and competition preparation.
Engineering under real conditions
Over several seasons, the focus shifted from simply making a robot work to designing complete systems that are fast, reliable and easy to improve. Competitions showed how much real engineering happens outside an ideal test environment, especially when hardware fails, conditions change or something breaks just before an official run.
Since 2023, HyperLine Robotics has grown from one competition project into the engineering identity behind most of my robotics work. It is where I test new ideas, build custom hardware, learn from failures and turn concepts into systems capable of competing internationally.
